Bed & Breakfast Beauty
Built in the early 1900s by Andrew Carr Sr., this historic home located in Minot is currently owned by another Carr family. Although unrelated, the current owners, James and Carol Carr, have worked hard to preserve their grand home’s history.
Named the Dakotah Rose, this beautiful bed and breakfast has three floors. The first floor consists of a parlor, dining room, library, and remodeled kitchen. A grand wooden staircase brings you to the second and third floors. This is where the guest rooms and bathrooms are located. Also on the third floor is a ballroom that used to host dances and parties. It is now a common area for guests to enjoy. Many original features of the home remain such as a foot tub, leaded windows and the wooden main staircase. By carefully preserving the home’s original charm, the Carrs operate a beautiful and peaceful bed and breakfast.
